Grave-Site Services.
We also have placed Veteran Markers for Union Soldiers as well as
Markers for Revolutionary Soldiers....
As part of our Community Invlovement, Our Members Dedicate their Time and Labor to clean and maintain
many Cemeteries where Veterans of all Wars are buried

Company E. 37th Virginia Volunteer Infantry was
founded in 1991 as a Family Oriented Organization and continues today honoring our Confederate Ancestors and teaching true
history thru living it. Since that time our Company has grown in membership and stature without forgetting the principles
of what we were founded on. Education of the War Between the States by participating in Living Histories, Reenactments and
being actively involved with the youth and Community Affairs. Each year our Organization is actively involved
not only in Reenactments in Southwestern virginia but several states as well. We participate in Community functions
such as Parades,Living Histories as well as the ordering and placing Military Markers ,We also conduct Military Grave-site
services and assist in the care of Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Jonesville,Virginia.
In 2001 our Ladies Auxiliary was founded and is a intregal part of our Organization.Attending reenactments, assisting in Living
Histories and Community functions while conducting many fund raisers throughout the year to assist the Organization

Infantry is a Veteran Reenacting Organization, well established with over 17 years of Experience. Our
Organization is a Registered,Non- Profit and Incorporated Company of the 37th Virginia Infantry Regiment and has
affiliation with other veteran companies of the 37th Virginia Infantry Regiment,The "Southern Guards Brigade",Hardees
Division,Cleburnes Division,Sons of Confederate Veterans,Lincoln Memorial University, Chamber of Commerce and other worthwhile
Organizations which have a proven track record of positive Community involvement.We pride ourselves in being historically
accurate and portray the men and women of the 1860's,thru reenacting for the right reasons,"Honor and Respect of our Amercian
History"!

In 2007 , The Membership of Company E. 37th Virginia Infantry & the "Southern Guards Battalion
made record breaking strides in the passion of reenacting. From South Carolina to Kentucky thru Tennessee & Virginia,
the members dedication and support was ever present.Posting Largest attending Company at 9 out of 12 events for the year! We
received a 3rd place trophy in Gatlinburg,Tennesee and were proud to be the only Reenacting Unit ever to March in the 4th
of July Parade as well as conduct a Living History and Skirmish for the many spectators.We are also proud of our support of
Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate,Tennessee and the many events and programs to educate the public.
The Membership has continued to grow becuse of the unselfish dedication of each of our members and The 2008 Season promises
to be another banner year as we have added new Events to our already full schedule, including the National Events -The
145th Anniversary of Gettysburg,Pennsyvania on July 4-5-6 and 145th Anniversary of The Battle of Chicamauga,Georgia on September
19-20-21,2008.
